Allison Ponthier is an American indie-folk singer.
Deeply influenced in her youth by the emo culture of the 2000s, she let us know with her lyrics why is so hard being Hardcore
This videoclip represents Allison's emotional journey as a sensitive teenager with few friends on her birthday, revealing how hard it is to pretend to be strong when her heart is full of conflicting emotions.
The video was entirely made with puppets and shot in a miniature set. After filming, we added special effects and enhanced the gestures of the doll with digital animation to bring the emotional depth of the character to life.
