Comedic musical film built around a handmade felt puppet version of myself, written, directed, and produced end-to-end using AI video generation after being laid off from my previous role. I designed the physical puppet, wrote the original rap-pop lyrics, and built the full creative pipeline: locked character references for the puppet and two supporting characters, a custom system-prompt framework that segments song lyrics into scene-by-scene direction, and distinct generation layers (a lip-synced performance track and supporting B-roll, all generated through Seedance 2.5 via Weavy AI. The film moves through a fast-cut comedic verse structure into a disco-lit, VFX-heavy chorus climax, ending on a direct-to-camera pitch. It's a case study in using AI production tools the way a director uses a crew: locked continuity, deliberate staging, and a clear creative point of view, turning a job search into a piece of work that speaks for itself.
